Re: Gameday WVA is not a better running team than Ark. It may seem that way because the defenses in the Big Least are far less talented than in the SEC. And for that reason, LSU would beat them (WVA) consistently.
LSU would be beat WVU 9 out of 10 times in their stadium. WVU's defense is suspect and their offense has NEVER played a defense as quick as the tigers. Their loss today backs that up. S. Florida has a decent defense. (Off the subject - Amp Hill caught a pass today for S. Florida). Anyway I believe that WVU could not handle Russell & company. But... believe this. WVU does travel well. Heard Jim Nantz comment on the florida win a little while ago how they were basically "shoe in's" for the BCS now. Basically indicating he feels whatever happens in the SEC champ that they would at least get at-large bid. That really infuriates me though because last year we were #3 in the BCS won 9 streight games and not only do we not get an at-large after we lost we get stuck in the freaking peach bowl!! This is the same year we beat florida arkensas bama and auburn for credentials. If this happens a year after we get screwed that would blow.:geauxtige
