The best eatery in Denham is Legrange Cafe. It is on Cockerham in the curve before you get to Lockhart. It is nothing fancy at all, but their steak is better than any steak I've ever paid for. They smoke the meat and finish it out on the grill. Awesome. And not to expensive.

Also for Barbeque, Try Wayne's in Livingston. Brisket is awesome, everything else is pretty good.

Thanks for the update. That was a nice family, as I recall. I'm glad the son is carrying on the tradition. We went to church with them, and they were some of the first folks we met upon moving to Baton Rouge about 25 years ago.

Dude! I thought you two weekends ago, while in Lafayette, looking for a place to take the team for lunch.........Yep. Saw a Raising Canes on the corner of Ambassdor and Pinhook......if my memory serves me correctly. :thumb:

Couldn't do it though, opted for Food Court in the mall- too many kids to come to a consensus.

That makes since. I can't believe the Mall of Acadiana doesn't have a Canes yet. Those damn Ragin' Cajun's.
