What I heard through the grapevine is that Carr will take a job in the administration at Michigan. This will definitely rule out Miles because there is history between those two and it is not good. At least that is what my brother's sister-in-law's uncle's cousin who works maintenance at Michigan State told me.

I would like to at least consider Terry Robiski if Miles were to leave. He is an Ex-Tiger with a very impressive NFL resume.

    Jerry Rice!

I would love it if Robiskie were seriously considered, but I have to wonder if he'd bother interviewing again.

If you look at available coaches, you won't have to look much further than Louisiana native Ed Oregeron...

On a serious note, I haven't really seen too many names on these posts to get too excited about. Some of the most innovative and charismatic coaches (which is I assume what we would want if Les leaves) can be found at the 1-AA (or FCS subdivision). That's where tOSUck got their head coach from and it's worked out okay for them. Just a thought...

What have you been smoking? He couldn't carry Jerry Stovall's jock strap much less coach at LSU. Jerry was a great player but a bad head coach.

I don't really understand why LSU fans continue to put themselves through this..."If he goes, who do we get".
IF Michigan would offer, it's not a slam dunk that he'd take the job. If Michigan doesn't offer him, where else would he even consider going? There aren't any "great" coaching jobs becoming available. Why go into a re-building situation?
Miles made a smart career decision by going after the LSU job. He didn't demand an outrageous salary up front, and trusted in himself that he would earn more in the long run. He passed the ultimate test of not crashing the high powered race car, and is finally getting credit from the media (and LSU fans) for building upon what was left for him to work with.

Anyone else notice that lately, rival fans (minus a few Bama flamers still hanging around) make more sense when talking about LSU than our own fans do?

Didn't y'all hear? Over on AUtigers.com folks are saying Saban to LSU is a done deal. The LSU AD and a couple of bigwig boosters spent the weekend at his house helping him pack.

No I'm not kidding, that's what they're posting over there, and they're about to pee their pants they're so excited about it.

BTW good game Saturday (from a bama fan), hope you guys can finish it off with a crystal party.
