just curious, but who is Alabama's backup, and why has he not gotten a look yet?

He lost the FSU and LSU games; this was quite similar.

McElroy got very little playing time early in the year but threw a TD pass... Western Carolina wasn't it?

Agreed; he should have been put in at some point.

Greg McElroy... he's seen some snaps in clean up duty, but never in a fill-in role.

Thats is sort of my point. It is fine and I applaud making jokes about him.

But to support his faults with "facts" to say he is a bad coach is ridiculous. Point is he has turned this program around from the inside first and will take a couple of years on the field. Everyone knows that (you would think)... People that disagree are dreaming. I am not saying he will win the West every year but any person could tell you making up points to refute his promising career at Alabama is just being delusional. Saban, and every coach loses games, but players have to be responsible every now and then.

Until this mindset changes, I will be a Saban apologist.

    Coaching decision, no?
That remains to be seen.:thumb: Sarah Jessica committing freshman mistakes is ALSO attributed to coaching, IMO. (blame Applewhite)

this thread has been hijacked by the major haters. lol

all i was doing is comparing Saban to Shula.

but i want the haters to keep doing their thing. it's funny. anytime Alabama loses 2 in a row, it's funny. :)

No doubt...the offensive line play was one area where he outcoached Saban. And say what you will, but MSU's talent level isn't on the same PLANET as Bama's. That is a fact.
