Do you honestly believe there is any chance, whatsoever, that, barring injury, Mauck would not be the starting QB at LSU next year if he comes back????? The new guys might look all world on the practice field, but they still are not going to replace a 5th year senior with the record Matt Mauck has had!!! This team is NOT coached by Mac Brown!

Just another thing, as a Tiger fan, to be grateful for.

I agree. It is not likely that the number one rated quarterback in the SEC will be replaced by an untried redshirt freshman, unless he is injured. When you consider that Mauck has about one and a half seasons experience, his production has been phenominal.

sounds good TE, but i have question.

you said that Flynn has the stronger arm than Russel. i always thought that Russel had by far the strongest arm of the two. even when i watch them before the game (and at fan day)...Russel was making all kinds of deep fly patters and long out routes...with ease. looked like Flynn was having to put all he had into it to hit an out route....and still wasnt as accurate in the longer passes

but Flynn seemed to have the upper hand in the short to medium range passes....looked like he was putting more touch on the ball....while Russel was burning them in there....im sure they have both improved a lot since then.

but yeah....that was always the impression i was under.

I think he meant Flynn had a stronger arm than Mauck.

I meant that Flynn has a stronger arm than Russell...

As for Ramah...I spoke with someone via cellphone about the shape of the field that Thursday night. Thanksgiving Day Night, as a matter of fact.

He told me that the tarps were out, but that the water was already standing in the bottom circle of the "crown" of the field. I've been on the field a time or two, so when he guestimated that it was all the way out to the numbers on the sidelines, I predicted a wet track, and that was based on his info. The tarp and the field crew did a great job, and the drainage system did its work.

I stand corrected. I also stand by what I was told and said...At that point, had the drainage not worked as well, it would have been wet. I underestimated our drainage system, and our grounds crew.

    Nothing more, and nothing less...

It's a much more honest mistake than say, venting after a tough road victory over a Top 15 team that we would lose AP voters and lost our shot at the Sugar Bowl when in actuality we did neither of those things, and the exact opposite relative to votes in the poll...

BTW-You wanna try to be doubting Thomas on the offensive gameplan tomorrow night? Has your source told you different about what the team was told by Saban?
