I'll try just once to address you as a rational, mature person.

Mauck is going to dental or Medical school. That is at least a four year school commitment. He will be 25 in Feb.

Now I know that football is the most important thing in some peoples minds, but this is a guy who has been a professional athlete already, has a plan for his life, and sees the young players behind him.

I'd love for him to come back, but can respect his decision to leave and will only thank him for all he's done and wish him success in the future.

As you grow up (not a flame), you'll see how this decision of his may make great sense

Back to Mauck, I would love to see him return and smooth the transitional period for our young QBs but, I would not blame him if his life's goals dictate that he move on now. It's HIS life and HIS choice and none of my business anyway.
