Sark's only coached 1 season at Texas. I think the pressure will be twice as much as it was last year. Guessing he bought some good faith from the admins with the Manning commitment. But that could change quickly.
We never know what goes on behind closed doors, but something tells me that Sark knows the sharks are circling and the only way to make them go away is to win. I really think he's a good coach, but not all good coaches make good head coaches. If he can't win in the Big 12 now, he's going to be destroyed in the SEC!
$3.4 Million value according to On3. https://www.on3.com/nil/news/arch-m...t-quarterback-2023-class-name-image-likeness/ Pure craziness, or just today's world?
Absolutely ridiculous! 3.3 million for last name, the rest for talent. College football is out of control and this is a prime example! I will never understand how a high school kid can become a million before even stepping on campus as a student! Sadly, it's only going to get worse!
He wont play much as long as Ewers is there. Think Georgia when Justin Fields showed up and the transfer portal lit up.
Throw in the implosion of conferences and college football might be in for a “be careful what you wish for” moment fairly soon.
I agree. Apparently former Texas QB Vince Young accidently disclosed that the plan is to red-shirt Arch when he arrives, which means Ewers has two years to start before he will have to battle Arch for the QB spot.
More evidence that college football is out of control and imploding. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10049162-texas-spent-nearly-280k-on-arch-manning-more-prospects-recruiting-weekend
I read that, but I wasn't shocked. With coaches making close to 10 million a year, what's $280,000 for a supposed 5-star QB. It's beyond ridiculous, but it's been that way for a long, long time!
