Except that part of Chicago is "nice", precisely why there are so many cameras. It's more the subzero, coldest night in maybe 100 years to get a Subway foot long that makes no sense.
Subway is near the bottom of the list for me. Togo's used to be a lot better but they tend to cram too much lettuce and not enough protein. I'm all about Jersey Mike's these days.
I've never been to a Jersey Mike's but they just opened one here so I'll try it. I liked Quizno's but I think the franchise went out of business. Firehouse Subs is pretty good and I go to a Jimmy John's that is in the same strip mall as a Subway. None of those places come close to a good shrimp or oyster poboy at a few thousand places in south Louisiana.
I was all in on schlotzskys, but they folding like a cheap suit. Nothing on god's green earth better than pork fat fried in its own fat. Rat boy will tell ya
Was never that much of a fan. You already know some of my faves. Tommy's in LA, Phillipe's French Dip in LA, and if you don't get to Canter's on Fairfax in LA, I will slap you. And get the rugala plate for dessert....ridiculous.
The luxury of living in New Orleans has spoiled me I guess. There are so many great PO boy shops I never eat at a chain. Give a Parkway Bakery, Pastime, Po Boy Company, George’s or so many others From debris roast beef, to meatball; from shrimp to soft shell crab no chain holds a candle to a good po boy.
Actually went to Canters in December. Girl I'm dating has a sister who is an actual world class roller derby queen. Had lunch there with a bunch of derby chicks. Lol Missed on the rugala tho. Gonna troll the arts district. Atty I work with gave me the word and I've had pie from the pie hole. Just damn...
