I’d take Steele over Pelini. But looks like that’s who we’re getting.

Yep, with a 7DB package. Same one Venables tried. How did that turn out? Barn game was only close due to the calls you pointed out and a lack of creative run schemes for CEH.

Rich Rodriguez is still out there. Could bring him in for his running schemes.

I'd guess that you would be in the minority. That said, new Bo could be a dumpster fire. Old Bo would run circles round Steele.

The game plans weren’t exactly the same. Venables brought pressure consistently. Steele relied mostly on his DL to get pressure, which allowed more in coverage.

The Auburn game was not as close as the score. We dominated every stat, just had some miscues in the red zone. Turned it over on downs twice, and one of them was because our own guy (I think McMath) knocked the ball away from a wide open Terrace Marshall in the back of the end zone. And the other one was on the 1 yard line. I give Auburn's defense credit for the goal line stand, but it could have easily been 37-20.

Did you hear Kevin Steele just got a raise to two-and-a-half million per year to become the highest paid assistant.

He isn’t worth it but Auburn is scared and doesn’t want to lose him.

All that money they saved from not giving a raise to their OC

Right, prob why I said tried. That said, once Brady saw it and adjusted against Barn, it never worked again. Point was we didnt leverage CEH enough and we were unchar conservative in redzone (minger's contribution). Gumps tried same BTW as I recall, again not exclusively.
