It wont matter if they game the mens tix away, people wont go. The only way Brady will get people in there is if he blows teams out by like 30 ever game. Obviously 13-1 at home isnt getting people to go. They could play the games at Dutchtowns gym and still not sell it out. I'd be willing to bet though, that the people who actually went to LSU basketball games last year and went to enjoy it (not to hope that they would lose so they could hate Brady more) really had a great time and enjoyed the action. I know I did. :thumb:

I went to 3 games, and had a blast at all of them!

Say what you want about Brady, and I change like the weather on this one, but I am a fan of the University, and I won't punish the players on the team because of the Coach...

THEY are the ones who feed off of the fans... NOT the coach..., so by 'not going' we are punishing Tack, and Darrel, and Glen, and Tasmin... etc... NOT John...

at the end of the day, he still gets his check...

So why can't we go out so that we can make sure the players leave here with something too: PRIDE

You get it and you see the picture. I was a Brady fan up through the 2002-2003 season. The Florida and Ohio State games were among the most entertainig games in recent LSU history and that is exactly why I favor a change. How a team can go from play like that to the garabage of December- early January and the UAB tournament game is frustrating. Toss-in the revolving door of players and questions pop up.

I have season tickets, I pull for the alma mater, I cheer for the young men, but LSU should be given a better return on the court from the coach. This is the Brown Suit's chance because 21-12 with this talent may end his days in Baton Rouge.

Part of the problem is that the non-conference schedule is weak.
I'm willing to bet that more fans would show up if they schedule better
    teams from around the country.
I enjoyed watching them play Arizona for instance a few years back and
    they actually won in 03.
No one wants to show up and watch this team play nothing but cupcakes
    in non-conference play.
This also really padded their record last year, made them look better than they were.

Look, I was happy with last years SEC run, the problem is the year before that and then the year before...
We will see what Brady and company does this year! :yelwink2:

no senior leadership. and guess what? it aint there this year either.

    talent?
two very short guards that are extremely inconsistent.
one average, at best, power forward with limited experience.
one still-green center who should do well but hasn't been the goto guy.
oh, and a bunch of other players with absolutely NO experience.

if they do as well as last year i'll be surprised and pleased.

All faults of who? The fans?

I guess you'll be happy with showings like the one in Knoxville against that mighty Tennessee team or that rousing performance in the tournament, too. LSU should not have warm up and love mediocre basketball annually. Is Brady's rebuilding plan a 10 year affair?

This team SHOULD win win the West, challenge for the SEC title, and advance beyond the first weekend of the NCAA's.

I like that rule. Show it to me in writing and I'll see if we can get it enforced.

dont put words in my mouth (or on my posts, i guess). i said nothing about brady doing a good job. i just wrote that they should not be expected to do great things this year with what they have.

fwiw, if its anyones fault its jb's.

I can't imagine any LSU fan wanting repeats of the blow out losses. We've had good discussions about a sport we both care deeply about. I think Brady has achieved as much as he can. We are well over mediocre basketball. I'm on record somewhere on a Brady thread that I hope he shuts me up this season by producing a year that is repsrentative of the talent he has recruited over the past few years, top ten classes should produce top ten programs.
