    not a top 20 pick?

where have you guys been? look at the high school plaers coming out in the past few years (no, I'm not talking about lebron) that have been picked in the top 20. didn't kendrick brown who signed with the tigers then opted for the draft go in the top 20?

this much is true. physically, brandon bass is ready for the NBA. mentally, maybe not. granted, he couldn't handle double teams last year, but that's something a decent coach could teach. the guy is a sure-fire NBA talent who will develop quickly under the tutelage of an NBA staff.

there are about 7 guys who come to mind that will def. be chosen before bass (two are in HS). by no means am I saying he will be the 8th pick, just players who I have at the top of my head.

I think someone is going to take Telfair way too early. If I was an NBA GM, I'd take a proven guy like Jameer Nelson way before a short high school PG who had 10 turnovers in his state championship game. However, it sounds like Telfair is going to be a lottery pick. IMO, Dwight Howard is the only high school player who should be picked ahead of Bass.

Most here have been spoiled by the football NC and are unfair in their criticism of Brady. Last year, before the NC season, only the dearly departed TuWho spoke out against him. As I've said before, we are a football school in a football state and our basketball program will never reach the heights aspired to no matter who the damn coach is. Period. Bash away.

Three that you named, were top 20 picks. I still don't see Bass going in the top 20. If I'm wrong, then it won't be the first time. There was one other time in my life that I was found to be wrong.

    Sabanfan,

Wake up. I've been a tiger fan for some time. I whole-heartedly support all of our coaches that are trying their best to build a winner. Believe me I was a Curly Hallman supporter. I loved his statement that he was making his players send their earrings to mama, etc.

But... He was a poor coach. It wasn't til he left, that I finally understood how bad he was. Good man, poor coach. I believe that Brady is better than Hallman. But... something is not right with Brady's program. Maybe TE is not always correct, but to blindly defend Brady is not correct either. I learned that from the Hallman experience. I personally hope that next year is Brady's last. :)

This is what I said a month or so ago.
1 player should never make a team go from winning to losing ever game in over a months time.
You should never put all your eggs in 1 basket and that is what Brady did
    with this years draft class.

The Brady supporters will blame Dale Brown and Brady himself will blame everyone but himself for his problems if Brandon leaves.
    Brady will say
" I don't know what happened but Big Baby and Brandon went pro and then Stromile left and I just didn't have the time I needed to patch things up"

This team will be VERY LUCKY to be at .500 by the end of the season if big
baby doesn't come and Brandon goes pro.

The Brady supporters will support him until the very end, I like Brady as a person but something just hasn't been right for a while now and it won't
change for next year unless Brady can find another Juco player on the level
or better than Lloreda as a player.

    Agreed with Chipeace
