    He wanted to give his full attention to the NASCAR stuff. He had already won 3 Super Bowls.

    I couldn't see how or why Gibbs would even consider that but who knows. He has been totally envolved in his racing team and he owns the dam thing, couldn't see him leaving. Also, Agree with the post on Belichick, if he wins another he's in the top 3 or 4 of the best in the 20 years or so.

    He owned a drag racing team also for a few years, then sold it to devote even more time to NASCRAP. opps NASCAR

    Joe's son, Coy Gibbs has been one of the top Busch Series drivers for a few years but hasn't made the leap to a full Winston Cup ride. Will Joe give up a NASCAR team one year removed from Tony Stewarts Winston Cup Championship to work for Dan Snyder? I don't believe Snyder is capable of showing the same kind of hands off restraint that Jerry Jones was forced to do to get Parcells.
