If the 1.9 is true, he will be the OC within 2 years, maybe less. At that price, he's got to be the highest paid, non OC/DC assistant in football. The writing is clearly on the wall. Sorry @Kikicaca but E will be put out to pasture. But he is and will be rewarded handsomely for his services and loyalty to the program.
To build on what you are saying, no question the writing is on the wall, has been from day 1 this season. However, kudos to Minger for the love he has for his alma mater - willing to do whatever is asked of him, from TE coach to OC, to now mentoring the future of LSU football. He’s a true Tiger and deserves a ton of credit!

Just what I heard. Surprised its taking this long to confirm unless they are negotiating changes to buy-out... Hope not. Need him here at least a few more years to build that pipeline of QB talent.
