Its like a politician being in politics for 30 years then they run again and are like "Guys, I will fix the problems now in my 31st year!" Not saying E was terrible, but if he had 2019 in him, WTF TOOK HIM SO LONG? Or maybe, he had good understanding of what we could do and was open minded enough to take "new" input....
The sum of the parts where greater than the individual components. Kind of like Lennon & McCarthy. Good song writers in their own rights, but great together. Brady brought innovation. Ensminger tempered it with his experience to keep him from out smarting himself.
In your analogy, Ensminger is more a Ringo. We'll find out soon just how big a part when gnome king dumps BoB and scoops up JB to run another eight in a row against us.
Well I kinda love it. I am much like Hou-duco in that Brady certainly helped but the sly old fox E was there to make sure he didn't forget you can't get too cute and throw bombs every play. I am going to trust Kelly to hire the OC that fits his system if it's Brady fine with me. My only concern is he was fired by Rhule for not installing more running plays and we all know Kelly will want a good running game.
If Joe Brady were to be brought back here he would need to have the same role as before, not head OC.
