I think so too but it's just my hunch. I hope I am wrong. If anything, I think the past 2-3 weeks in the Dem Primaries have showed that maybe Bernie's strong showing last year was more related to Clinton being a terrible candidate than a real "movement" as Sanders likes to call it. Biden has trounced him even in areas that Sanders did well in last year.
That’s a big IF. I think the Demosocialist are just using this election to introduce who they really are. They’ve had to pretend to be moderate and love our constitution for decades, all the while slowly pushing us in a leftist direction with SS, Medicare, Medicaid, Climate Change narrative, etc. Now that they have no chance of winning, it is safe to push full bore for Universal Healthcare, Free education, open borders, global government, etc. They can’t lose because they’ve already lost.
I'm guessing (hoping?, backed by a minutely small sample of Twitter comments) that Sanders supporters will either go Trump or sit this one out. The whole, fool me twice....thing.
I think there is a very real possibility that some of Bernie's supporters cross over in protest. I think I read somewhere that 1 out of 10 Bernie supporters crossed over for Trump in 2016. I don't suspect the number will be that high this time...mostly because Clinton's candidacy was so terrible and turned off a lot of Bernie's supporters.
It depends on how badly they feel their guy got screwed. If any dirt leaks that shows they shafted the old socialist again then I think the number goes up. Either way, if they cross or sit out it's still good for Trump
Trump's next commercial needs to just be Biden calling that worker an asshole over and over and over.
Just to ensure clarity, I think the VP nominee will be Harris, but I don’t like it. Warren is too unlikable, but she is a policy wonk of sorts.
Only if the electorate are holding Biden to a different standard than Trump. After 3 years of Trump I don't think the American people are too swayed by crass talk.
Conversely Trump is ALWAYS talking about working FOR the people while Joe just told this guy "I don't work for you" That's the soundbite right there. We can keep it that way Joe
I can't for the life of me see how either are the pick. They are both crazy, hell the entire lot of them are crazy. Why are we thinking it has to be one of the dropouts?
