I actually agree with the original poster. We all expected Joe, after AB went down, to have a break out season. He was obviously hurt by injuries, but our OL played way below their talent level all year. JA ran a 4.3 40 before the seaon for some NFL scouts in Tiger Stadium (before his ankle injuries). I think Joe is going to be a top 5 RB in the NFL within the first five years in the NFL. Just one man's opinion though. :geauxtige

I am really disappointed for Joseph. Midway through the season I saw him as a potential 3rd rounder. But his injury and the OL's play lately has hurt his draft status dramatically IMO. I really don't see him in the top three rounds at all. That said, a team could really hit the jackpot finding him in the late rounds.

JA will be what is known as a "workout warrior"... he will go and have great 40 and shuttle times and will get boosted to the 2nd or 3rd round..

RE Joe Addai's potential in the NFL: See the success of Domanick Davis. Both work extremely hard and didn't really get the respect they deserved in college. Joe Addai is going to make some team an extremely good back who can catch the ball and run over you at the same time.

    Ugh.

You gotta be kidding me, right? I wouldn't gloss a guy that couldn't win the starting job on his own (read: without others like AB getting hurt) "the next LT".

Joe does have an NFL future, as I think he's at least as versatile and tough as D. Davis, but c'mon now...

Domanick Davis didn't start all the time, LT started before him a lot (LaBrandon Toefield). I do think Joseph Addai can have a good career in the NFL. He'll probably get taken in the later rounds just like DD did and suprise a lot of people. Geaux Joe!

The one thing I always loved about Addai was his ability to grab those extra yards when they didn't seem to exist.

Broussard just made sure he got to where he needed physically but Addai just seems to always go that extra distance.

Hopefully, Addai has that when he returns
