JJ hasn't performed worth a crap the first two games, especially considering the phenom. talent we have at WR. Any other position would have been pulled a long time ago. i remember Saban swopping JR & Randal a few years ago. he wasn't afraid to bench a QB.

I understand giving a new player time to settle, but he's had 17+/- starts! Its time to give JL an opportunity. let's see how he's progressed.

Just heard this point on the radio, and i think it's very valid.

You want what from your starting quarterback? Leadership.

What did Stevan Ridley say after the North Carolina game? He said he let his team down, and he was going to work his butt off to make sure it wouldn't happen again.

What did Jordan Jefferson say today in that article? He gave a bunch of excuses instead of taking it on the chin. That isn't leadership.

you play as a team. you win as a team. you lose as a team. i'll admit that a lot of it was jefferson's fault, but there is NO way it was all his fault. i saw receivers drop balls that (no matter how badly thrown) were in their hands. at least three of them. i saw the OC/HC/whomever calling ridiculous plays to start the game that set JJ up for failure because the plays called were NOT designed to instill confidence. starting the game off with an option play? two fumbles because of piss-poor play calling? the kid had his worst game as a tiger, i'll give you that, but he's the only reason the offense is in such disarray? i don't think so. :dis:

the kid's just not a top-tier QB, it's not his fault.

Now if J Lee will give a plea to play more, Crowton to forgive is inability to play call and Miles his inability to manage the clock, all will be right with the world.

Ok, I absolutely refuse to be patient anymore!! He has started in 16 games, 16!! I'm sorry, but that is just rediculous to say that we have to be more patient as fans!! It He has not showed even the smallest amount of improvement and his play has been anything but consistant! He has actually gotten worse with every game he has played!! I COMPLETEY place 100% of the blame on Jefferson, and Miles for keeping him in there! He is surrounded with some of the top players in the nation, including one of the BEST and most athletic recievers in the country!! If he can't do it with 5 star talent all around him in 16 games, how can anyone think he is gonna improve with more time!! That's absolutely rediculous to say!! We cannot continue to allow him or Les Miles continue to drag the program down to being average like we have been for the last 3 seasons!! Mark my words, he will not get better next week against MSU and we will be simply stagnant on offense all because of Jefferson!! We are waisting too much talent waiting on something that will never happen!! He is terrible, wake up people!! Seriously, the proof is there, He will NEVER be an SEC caliber QB!! We are one quarterback away from being a championship contender, he is the only thing holding us back!!

He took it on the chin in this arctilce:

“I had plenty of opportunities to complete passes and they just fell short on me,” Jefferson said of the Vanderbilt game. “A person that doesn’t know football could tell I didn’t play good and I know I didn’t play good. I know what I need to do.”
