This is it in a nutshell. I totally can understand that he feels that way, but just dont blab it to the media jj.
This phucked up conservative game plan we've been running for 2 years plus with JJ at the helm has obviously not helped him gain the confidence necessary to be a solid QB. When you're told over and over again that we're gonna run the ball and please don't phuck up, well you're asking for trouble a the QB position. With the weapons we have, it should be a fairly wide open and dynamic offense. But it isn't close to that. If you didn't know any better, you would swear we had 3 mediocre wide receivers.
That's an excellent point. Miles was a good head coach with Jimbo and Pelini. He is still a good HC, IMO but he needs to do something about his OC and OL coach. The head coach manages and the others coach.
I see more demands of no boos than pleas of no boos. I don't remember the last time I've been in the stadium and DIDN'T hear some kind of booing. Whether it's right before halftime when most fans want to try to score from our own 5 yd line with 20 seconds left and the coaches kneel on the ball or if it's for punting on 4th and inches inside our own 20 yd line. there is no doubt in my mind that there will some booing, and like i've said (online, so i guess i wrote it) most of the booing is for the coaches and their weird decisions. And I do know that Lee got some booing when he was setting records for pick 6's 2 yrs ago.
Does anyone know if the players are required to take speech classes? I think that would be a good idea especially for the big name players.
i have certainly heard worse "ebonics" and slang from players than what i hear from jordan jefferson. you guys remember jamarcus, right? even jamarcus, though country as all hell, wasn't the worse. :hihi:
That is true for many on this forum, but I don't get that from this thread. Those statements are pretty out of left field, you have to admit. And they don't exude confidence either. I would prefer he tell us all to phuck off instead of plead youth and ask for patience. I think most people can acknowledge his biggest issue is self-confidence(even Miles says this), so does this alleviate anyone's fears? If not for the team performance, just for him alone? Sounds like he fears what happened to Lee(with good reason with this fan base :rolleye33, and that can be a self-fulfilling prophecy. LSU did him no favors by letting him say all of that. We all want him to succeed, but it starts with JJ. He has to believe in himself, and it doesn't sound like he does.
