No. But there are glaring holes in BOTH of their games and as such, BOTH should have gotten more work distributed evenly than what was shown tonight, IMO.

I think a more accurate statement would be:

Hey JJ thanks for not turning the ball over and allowing our special teams and defense to get the biggest win ever.

    Now take the bench.

You are right, there is more than one angle. Here's another angle...hey defense and special teams...you led us to a big win against Alabama. JJ, thanks for stepping up and not making any big mistakes. Then send JL back out there against WKy and have JJ come in as needed.

But if you are going to sit one or the other for the first three quarters of the WKy game, then it should be JJ on the bench. I'll take 7 victories with consistent play over one victory.

Miles knows that JJ gives the team the best chance to win out. If the 11 opposing SEC defensive coordinators were polled I bet they would vote unanamously that they would prefer to face a LSU team with JL playing instead of JJ. JJ creates many more issues for a defense than JL does.

JJ started in 2009 and sucked!

JJ started in 2010 and sucked!

JJ screwed up in 2011 leading to Lee beating Oregon, Florida, Auburn, West Virginia, MSU, etc.

Lee throws and INT and the dumbass coaches sit him for two series then call a deep pass on his first play back. JJ comes in and gets credit for the defense and special teams winning the game.

JJ starts tonight and still looks like a true freshmen. He's athletic but just not very intelligent.

I don't think we win the BCS if he continues to start and plays most of each game.

I've never said this about any LSU player before but I'm VERY happy this is his last season. I can't think of another college QB who has been surrounded by so much talent...and been given so many opportunities...and yet still looks like a high school QB.

Thank you JL for getting us this far. You'll hear how much support you have when you're announced at Senior Day.

That's BS and you know it. There's NO way we would be undefeated without Lee this season. Look back at last year. Who got us the big wins?...Lee. Who lost to Arkansas and would've lost several more without Lee saving the day?...Jefferson.

Lee should start with JJ in the Perilloux role. Either way he's gone after another 12-16 quarters. Maybe this subpar QB love will finally end.

CLM has a habit to have his decisions been challenged by the media and fan base, and all he does was win ball games for us, so I have learned a long time ago to just sit tight and trust the hat's judgements. However, I still must admit that seeing Lee got benched today for having a off day against the best D in the nation was hard to swallow emotionally knowing what he has gone through so far and what he has contributed to this undefeated season. Did we win the game again? Yes. But was it an unfair deal for Jarret Lee? No doubt!!
