JJ at the MPA

    I did find that caveat somewhat curious. Isn't a QB always throwing against the air?

    I guess you could make an argument that the air in Tiger Stadium early in the season more closely resembles water. . .

    It doesn't really mean anything to the fans because, in scrimmages, the coaches set up scenarios to see what THEY want to measure--and most times those aren't realistic game situations. My dad, who was a coach, tried for years to explain to my mom why scrimmages were so freakin' boring to watch.

    It was because...they're not games. They're practices.

    That's actually true. It's the games in the middle I worry about.

    how would you rank the QBs that you saw at the MPA? particularly, how would you rank JJ in comparison to the others?

    he also said Jacory Harris looked "pretty good." regarding Tyler Wilson and John Brantley, he said: "nothing spectacular or that just said wow."
