It's that kind of self-pity and lack of dialouge that will continue to keep people from equality, harmony, etc.

You're too quick to assume and the self-victimization BS (race card, etc) is really getting old.

That's what keeps people like me from helping more. No matter what happens in some people's mind, they'll always have it harder than someone else. WHAAAAAAA

If you knew my "black" friends you would know what kind of person I am. For that matter, if you knew any of my friends... We often discuss the issues and realize there are a ton of problems (some old, some new) that continue to plague our community. We at least talk about them and don't get so offensive when someone doesn't agree with us 100%.

You come off like you just attended a self-empowerment session and are determined that nobody's going to get in your way. It's a two-way street man. None of us are completely innocent or guilty.

I just see people like Rev. Wright, Rev. Jackson, and Rev. Sharpton as the wrong type of people to lead communities. Before you suggest that David Duke lead them, I think we have many people to choose from. I'm just tired of the same old rhetoric from the race pimps trying to make everyone believe that things are just as bad today as they were 150 years ago.

Kids need to be raised by their parents and need guidance. They don't need to be raised by a "village". This cycle just continues over and over.

When someone like Bill Cosby stands up and says be responsible, he's chastised for being Uncle Tom. I just don't get it.

I believe in God. I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe that all humans are created equal in God's image. It's what many people do in their own life that separates them.

I believe in equality but I believe that's different than having equal rewards. Give people an opportunity but if they don't work as hard or put as much effort into their work, they shouldn't have equal rewards. When a government decides to do that, then the workers quit working and the system stalls.

It was a joke, take at that. I struck a nerve with you, so something I said is bothering you.

I never ask for your help with anything, cause buddy, I dont need it. I have accomplished a hell of a lot in my 27 years on this earth. I dont brag, but I am blessed and proud of my accomplishments.

I have claim any selfvictimization at all. Never have never will. I will be quick to point out discrimination if I feel that way about it. You can characterize it how you want and I will do the same.

I dont care to meet any of your black friends or whoever. That wouldnt change my opinion of you. Just like I am saying, that my best friend is white, (best man in my wedding to be exact). What does that mean to any of this, nothing.

I have stated here before that Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson dont represent me as a black man, they dont represent my race. They represent themselves and I dont agree or look for guidance in their so called leadership, so QUIT PHUCKING STEREOTYPING ME NOW.
That paragraph in your post assumes that I believe what Sharpton and Jackson believe in just because I am black.

I look at people as people, I judge them by their actions not skin color or gender. I was raised that way my friend. I believe in forgiveness for all, what Christianity gospel preaches.

You need to quit ranting because your thoughts run together and you cant stay on one point.

You posted all of that nonsense to retort a joke:hihi:

Actually I like Purple Tiger, we have debated before and he is just as passionate as I am about things.
I think that draws me to him, so we are good in that respect. Its nothing personal.

He is just crazy as a road lizard.:hihi:

We're fine...we just have strong convictions. (So does Red)

I don't mind if someone disagrees with me, even if they totally disagree. If they're at least trying to make a difference, then I'm satisfied.

It's the people who complain but want someone else to carry their torch that gripe me.

Mastermind is fine...just a little confused and hurting over the Pistons' series. :hihi: (At least the Red Wings know how to get over the hump...;))

Jindal is far from true Republican values. He represents this new Republican party that many people have grown to accept.

    Pathetic.

I know you guys are good, it was a joke as well. If I could have inserted a Mils Lane voiceover I would have. This whole FSA is nuttier than a squirell turd if you ask me. It sure is fun though, especially when I rile ol Red up.

Obama rebukes preacher, urges race healing | Reuters

3-18-08 obama criticizes his pastor's sermons, but cannot disown hin. "i can no more disown him (rev. wright) than i can disown the black community"

Obama's Risky Denunciation Of Rev. Wright, Analysis: CBSNews.com's Vaughn Ververs Says Harsh Words For Ex-Pastor May Help Obama, But Challenges Await - CBS News

4-29-08 "In his much-heralded address on race relations after Wright’s earlier comments began gaining wide circulation last month, Obama pointedly denounced the comments but not the man. That position changed today. Calling Wright’s appearance Monday a “performance,” Obama went further, saying his remarks “were not only divisive and destructive, but I believe that they end up giving comfort to those who prey on hate.”

    political expidency?

"In a New York Times profile of the Obama-Wright relationship in April 2007, Wright himself predicted such a split based on the controversial remarks that were already under some scrutiny. “If Barack gets past the primary, he might have to publicly distance himself from me,” Wright told the paper over a year ago. “I said it to Barack personally, and he said yeah, that might have to happen.”

Whether Obama’s strong words of denunciation today were sincere or “political posturing” will be decided by the remaining Democratic primary voters, the party’s superdelegates and, perhaps, the national electorate. But it’s not a discussion that is likely to disappear entirely from the public’s consciousness. "
