Not sure we're on the same page here. Are you saying handouts are equal to loans?

I wouldn't define student loans as "more spending" and if people pay the government back is there need to raise the debt ceiling? If so then I wouldn't be for raising it. Has that phucker not overspent enough? Tables are about to turn. His ego's going to be reigned in (pun intended).

You guys are smoking crack, the only way a republican is going to win the presidency is if state republican lawmakers make it to where African Americans and Latinos can't vote. The GOP in national elections is dead, unless they do a 180 and kick the crazies out of the party which they won't do. At every turn the democrats have kicked the GOP in the teeth politically, and all the GOP can do is sit there and whine. Like the immigration bill, the White House brilliantly throws their own bill out as bait and what do the Grumpy Ole Plutocrats do? They take the bait of course and show the world what alot of us have known already. They aren't governing, and they care nothing for this country, all they care about is puffing out their chests and talking shit about Obama. Obama could come out today and have a plan to shrink government, privatize social security, cut Medicare, deregulate Wall Street, and raise defense spending, and make abortion illegal and the GOP would cometely flip because its Obama.

The gap between dems and repubs is not nearly what you make of it. I am curious to see who the repubs run next election.

GOP took under 30 percent of the Asian American and Latino votes, and 0% of the African American vote, and lost by a nice margin with women. So it's plain to see that if they keep this same path the only way to win is to disinfranchise, and suppress minority votes.

Candidates are different. Obama's not running again and Romney probably won't run again. You can't paint a broad stroke on every republican and democratic candidate.

I can because that's what these national elections are. If you are a democrat you take on the entire party, if you are a republican you take on that entire party. That includes the fringe and right now the right wing fringe is coo coo for coco puffs, and they make the left fringe look like they aren't that crazy. Personally I think it sucks, I would love to see the rebublicans put out a viable candidate and to dismiss the fringe, it would be good for all of us, I just don't see it happening anytime soon.

I think you have read to much into things.

Obama got less votes in 2012 than McCain did in 2008...

    2012 OBAMA -- 59,651,236 ROMNEY -- 57,028,531

    2008 OBAMA -- 69,456,897 MCCAIN -- 59,934,814

If you think Dem's did a stand up job, you need to re-look. They have also lost support.

I mean, just looking at the numbers, the Dems have lost 10 million supporters while the Republicans lost 2-3 mill......

This shows me a smooth 12 million votes for the taking by either party.

And the democrats still won. That just confirms my belief that if the GOP keeps up this pro abortion, anti woman, anti entitlement stance, it's just going to get worse for them, sure they may win the white vote, but this country is getting less white every day. That is unless republican lawmakers can suppress the minority vote. I'm sorry fellas I just don't see it.
