lol yes it was a great response, Rubio "Im not for more or growing government programs, but I had 100k in student loans (govt program) and my mother depends on medicare (government program).

yes other than the glaring contradictions, it went fine.

you mean like Bush did, then yes, we should all be ok with.
maybe its because of the person in the white house now, that we all of sudden hate spending.

"More" or "Growing". Did you miss those words? And having loans isn't a problem it's not paying for them. I assume since he's a Republican, he did.

    Or maybe the amount?

As for Bush, I thought he sucked too.

does this means youre now for more spending (loans) and for raising the debt ceiling (paying bills)?

That sip of water was hilarious. You know he was thinking "hey, I'll just casually get a sip of water and it won't be a big deal", then he started leaning for it and realized how far away it was but was already committed. So he spends 6 seconds reaching for and taking a sip of water at the most awkward time. I thought he was reaching for a prop of some sort. Can you imagine what his aides and colleagues who were in the room were thinking?

I think I brought it up before they did.

Fact is, it was the only thing that held me on for the rest of his speech. I waited for him to start spitting soon after. If only a bigger sip???
