Used to have an expression in the Pentagon: The self-licking ice cream cone. Nothing describes the Oscars better. I am stunned, however, that they don’t hand out participation trophies, too!
I don’t really watch the oscars unless I’m trying to see the people who died. That and the thread on the other board is the only thing that keeps me in the loop. I like the Grammy’s though. I like seeing the artists perform, there have been some really solid Grammy performances over the years.
