yes he did. some of the older ones who were the originators of Sportscenter and ESPN weren't hired for their looks but the quality was so much higher than now its not worth mentioning. I'd take substance over style anyday. today its almost unwatchable.

 

All of their broadcast have gone towards the adverstising doctrine, directed at those with the mentality of a 10 year old.
