Most of the pictures I have seen of Jesus show him to have a relatively medium dark skin. I have never seen a white blonde Jesus. I have seen a "short-haired Jesus." But these are "all" an artist's impression. No one "really" ever took His picture. Most Jewish have a slightly dark skin tone. I really don't care. When I go in the pearly gates, and I first meet Jesus, I could care less if He is black as the ace of spades, speaks Italian, introduces His friend Alah, and is bald headed. As long as He says, "Welcome home my good and faithful servant," and not "depart from Me, you worker of eniquity (sp?) for I never knew you." I think we will all throw away those name tags such as Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, and Pentacostal. I can only promise you that when I meet Him, and if He is dark or whatever, I am not going to say, "No Hell No. Just send me to hell........I ain't putting up with no dark skinned God."
No, I deduce. Based upon your comments and threads. Assuming is something that overlooks a lack of credible evidence, which is what you are doing in this thread. And your purpose is quite clear to every other poster, white and black.
And what is my purpose? And your deduction could be wrong. I could be playing the other side. Which I tend to do often. Are you done whining?
Not exactly. John, in the book of Revelation mentions a figure with seven candlesticks "like unto the son of man", but does not name him. These were the dreams of John and the actual scripture is: "His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire" "And his feet like unto fine brass" To my knowledge the Bible never gives any physical description of Christ. The closest thing we get to a description is in Isaiah 53:2b, “He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to Him, nothing in His appearance that we should desire Him.” All this tells us is that Jesus’ appearance was just like any other man's – He was ordinary-looking.
