Its good to see an Auburn fan feel this way. They have a special place in the return of the White jerseys. The 1995 game with Auburn (12-6 LSU win) was the first LSU home game with the return of the white jerseys, the best thing DiNardo ever did for LSU IMO. He also did a good job his first three years, but that success wasn't sustained. Getting the NCAA exemption for LSU to wear white at home was great though. What a game that was too. LSU should have scored about three TD's in the first half, but could only muster up 9 points. then it got to be 12-6 with Auburn on the move late in the game. There was a tremendous sack on this drive that made Auburn scream foul, something about a whistle being blown, but my LSU ears did not hear it. Then with the game on the line Troy Twillie, backpedaling, jumps high for the INT in the north endzone to end the game. LSU wins! LSU wins! I will never forget watching that last drive in Tiger Stadium. the win helped LSU extinguish 6 years of losing seasons. What a game! The next years game at Auburn was pretty good too with a 2 pt INT runback and a rather large fire. :crystal:
