This system should really go bye, bye, I have always been wanted some kind of playoff system. Most team already play 13 games, eliminate one of the cupcakes if necessary. You already have a championship game to take you to the next round, etc. There are many ways to fix this mess that makes more sense.

i dont think they have a leg to stand on. it cant be anti-trust, because osu is part of a bcs conference. it's the teams like houston and boise, had they also not choked, that have an anti-trust claim. it was scott cowan, i believe, who started playing that angle, when tulane went undefeated back whenever it was, and couldnt even get a bcs bowl invite.

i may be 100% wrong on the anti-trust issue, but that would be my take.
