Not starting and not playing are two different things peeps. Just keep that in mind.

Well, of course, I reserve the right to change my mind.

Throughout this whole saga, nobody has even considered the fact that ALFRED BLUE IS BACK!! He started out last season on fire, cranking out three 100-yard+ games in a row, unless my memory is failing me. I'm not sure that Hill would have even overtaken Blue, if not for the injury. It's nice to know that we have two backs that can slay it, but I'm fine with Blue filling the starting role.

Actually we have 3!! Hillard was really good his Freshman year and last year showed signs of it but never broke out of his Sophomore slump I believe he has had a year to deal with the off field distractions and should be ready for a big year as well. With Hill likely back the stable is now officially full again!!

Yeah, but he didn't exactly put up those numbers against top-flight defenses, so it's hard to tell just how good those performances really were.

Also, he's coming back from a knee injury, so I wonder if he'll be back to his previous form.

Yes he would've. Blue is really good and very, very talented. With the exception of Bama and Georgia, he's probably the unquestioned #1 guy.

Hill is "every now and then" special...just unfortunately makes stupid decisions. He's the #1 guys everywhere, including Bama and Georgia. Keep in mind he's the biggest, strongest, and fastest of our bunch. Even with Blue healthy, Hill was going to be impossible to keep off the field. If he serves a 2 or 3 game suspension, those heavies on Georgia's defense are still going to require a heavy dose of Hill.

On the flip side, I'm hoping Blue is so good coming back from injury that he makes it hard for Hill to see the field. The fact that this team would be fine without Hill tells you how good this stable is.

If he is suspended, his body is just that much more fresh.

I haven't heard anything on that yet. I could see anywhere from 0-5 games.

He is in the building though and I assume will be allowed to practice.

That in itself is a good sign. He's been cut off from the team and the practice facility. The fact that he's allowed back in the locker room is a huge first step.
