I am very interested but I will be at the game. Jerry's video board is bigger than my projection screen.
His video board is probably bigger than Stacey's whole party and anyone else's for that matter....unless someone has a 80 yard tailgate set up I need to know about.
That screen is so big that you end up looking up for most of the game, not down. As I've expressed in the past, I am not a fan of that stadium.
I agree, I went to the Oregon game and it was hard to take your eyes off it and we had great seats......I'm also not a fan of $47.00 for 2 cocktails. Stadium is super nice though.....
It is a beautiful stadium lacking nothing in the way of extravagance but to me it misses some sort of identity. It is the home of the Cowboys but it is so subdued it is hard to tell on gameday. Unlike the old Texas Stadium or when I go to the Superdome it screams to me this is the home of the Saints. I think it takes on the character of Dallas itself, showy and pretentious but lacks something organic. The craziest that I have ever seen that stadium was when I took my son to a Gold Cup game three years ago with Mexico playing El Salvador. 80,000 hispanics and 2 white people. The parking lot was crazy. The stadium was rocking. The crowd was singing Mexican songs.............and the big screen was turned off.
And that, my friends, is the real reason purses will now be banned at NFL games for "security" reasons.
I am in Richardson (almost Plano) and I owe Stacy a return invitation for a party that she threw a few years ago. I finally got rid of my 36 inch glass and got a 65 inch monster screen. For the TCU game, my 11 year old son and I are going to hang out outside of Jerry world until just after kick-off trying to get cheap tickets. But I need to host the "North of Dallas Tigerfan" party this year for one of the good games.
Is your 11-year-old going to Wilson Middle anytime soon? That's been my school for the past 16 years. I seem to remember your kids were at Aldridge Elementary?
Currently, I'm teaching 7th grade honors English and 8th grade on level. I generally never know from year-to-year where I'll land with classes. PM me his name, so I can look out for him. Tell him if he needs any help with anything to come see Mrs. O. in room 710!
