I'm sure the "victim" got exactly what he deserves. However, Hill is still a grade-A stupid mofo for even putting himself in this situation. For starters, considering that he had to miss an entire year of football because of previous troubles, I would hope that he would be a little more cautious at the situations he puts himself in (I've heard previous things about him acting like an ass at bars). If this means not going out at all, then so be it. Say what you will about his previous incident or whatever, but he still had trouble in the law, and was very fortunate to even be playing at a Div-I school. Secondly, Miles has shown on multiple ocassions that he is not afraid to dismiss the best player on the roster. Fuck, it hasn't even been a year since that happened most recently! Given all of this, I really have to wonder what the kid has between his ears. What's he going to do? Sit out another year and just wait for the draft next year? Because that worked-out so well for Maurice Clarrett? And Chris Faulk?
I can't see him not playing this year from Day 1. Basically hearing no charges will be pressed and charges dropped and then reinstated by LSU.

As a fan, I say that sounds great. As Jeremy Hill, I would go find Jesus or something STAT because that would be twice that he's dodged catastrophe. Seriously, dude. Buy a Kindle (with your own money, of course), download a bunch of good books (I can recommend some if need be), download a bunch of internet porn (again, I can recommend), develop a reading habit and stay the eff home until you get drafted. Who was the player some years back the dropped a dude at Bogie's (I think) because he was defending some girl and didn't get in any trouble with the team? It was some white dude, I wanna say Chase something or the other...might have even been when saban was still here. Anyone else remember that?
I suspect he'll get suspended for one game, like Wing did for the same offense last year. But he'll be on double-secret probation with Les from here on.
I witnessed the Pittman incident. Some drunkard grabbed a buddy of mine's girlfriend's tits. Pittman went insane. He barely new my buddy or the girl. He chased the guy out of the bar and utterly destroyed him, and then broke several windows in the dude's car. It was at Freds or Reggies.
