If you feel it against your principles but still go to the games and cheer for him, then you're the hypocrite and should feel dirty because your action is as bad or worse. You and the others demand perfection yet compromise yourselves for the want to win. Most recognize Hill's failure yet see there is room for another chance...not only because he is a tremendous baller but also because most are willing to give him a chance at redemption. As a purely practical matter if you kick him off the team and he commits another crime or is unemployable you and the rest of us will pay for him for the rest of his life, either in prison or welfare. If he take advantage and becomes a positive member of society he helps us all. Are you and others (Brett et all) that much of a puritan that you have no compassion or that so blind that you don't see some small investment in him now will likely pay dividends while casting him out will only cost you and society so much more?
