At least make up a story. "Yeah, i got this black friend named Tyrone. Me and him are tight. We go...um...talk to each other at Walmart"
I'm not making excuses at all for his behavior. I doubt Hill is either, but who knows. It's not even about that. In fact I've said there is no excuse and we SHOULD hold him to a higher standard. Especially someone who already had legal problems. All I'm saying is he's not a thug, and pointing out that ON THIS SITE, that word gets tossed around pretty freely and it has some connotations to it, many times unbeknownst to the user. I'm also not calling anyone racist. I give most folks the benefit of the doubt. If this were white racist males, Hill wouldn't have to do anything but exist to be called a derogatory name. He could run for an 80 yard TD and a white racist would say "look at that nigger run."
Maybe a little pre-historic, but not a dinosaur. And Red, the vast majority of what I'm speaking to happens on this very site. You just didn't notice. And why would you? I just find it intersting...maybe it's just a coincidence and I'm projecting. But I've seen enough of it to feel pretty secure in my viewpoint.
