I can agree with this to a large extent. It used to be that when a kid screws up, the coach made him run steps til he puked and tha usually straightened them out. In Hill's case , though, he has some legal issues that may trip him up in this situation. I think kids need to learn how to grow and make good choices and be accountable for them. If this was only a small transgression I hope Hill gets to run a lot of steps and put this behind him.
WTF? Are there any students left that just stay home drink a few beers, do the girlfriend and study a little?
This Trust me, I could fuck up an anvil with a plastic hammer and I have managed to stay out of jail... for the most part. At least for a really long time.
What an absolute idiot. Your only job is to play football and not get arrested and you can't even do that. And don't give any BS about school because we all know the football players probably don't know half the classes they're in. College kids just don't have any common sense nowadays.
East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney Hillar Moore said it was too early to speculate: "When we get a copy of the report we'll take a look, and if we feel the need to take appropriate action in court, we will, but that will be driven by the facts, and again, he's presumed innocent." Baton Rouge Police Lt. Don Kelly, the department spokesman, said police responded at 2:15 a.m. to a call regarding a 20-year-old man who said he was punched A witness who had made a video recording with his mobile phone shared the recording with police. Kelly said the recording showed a man that appears to be Hill punching the victim, who was then punched again, and knocked to the ground by a second suspect whom police have not yet identified, and who remains at large (a teammate or not?) Police found Hill at an apartment on campus and arrested him. He was later released on $500 bond.
An officer was shown a video of the incident, “which clearly shows the defendant (Hill) striking the victim,” the affidavit says. A second person then hit the victim with his fist, Baton Rouge Police Department spokesman Cpl. L’Jean McKneely said. The second person’s identity, as well as what caused the fight, are unknown at this time, McKneely said.
