He kind of already did that when he didn't sign or seriously recruit any RBs this year. But considering the circumstances, I'm sure we take at least 3 RBs this year, whether Fournette is one of them or not.
A year with Cam, an yes, he could move on to the Pro's. Just like Brockers, he'll be eligible after his Soph. year.
Did some checking on around on various sites and with various folks I know in the profession and he's already projected as the top draft eligible back for next year. My coaching buddy says his sources tell him they know he probably won't get primary back carries with Blue and Hilliard still there and Les's platoon approach, but if he makes the most of the 15-20 carries he should get per game, he can play himself into the top 10. He even thinks Blue will go pretty high...in the mid 2nd-3rd round range if he produces and stays healthy. Same guy also seems to think the only way Fournette goes anywhere else but LSU is if Crutchfield sours the well, and that's not likely to happen even though the relationship Crutch and LSU staff wasn't the greatest a few years ago. It's much improved now.
