I'm amazed that 8-26 vs Bama is considered good. Oh yea 3 drops. My bad. 11-26. Elite program with shit QB standards!
I have said he sucked. He did suck. So did Harris. You're right, we didn't get Harris enough reps so the evaluation of him is biased. I'm just saying.
The difference here is that Harris has more talent than all three. Les let Lee sling it. Les let JJ sling it. Les is barely putting Jennings in a position to succeed, aka terrible play calling, and refuses to give Harris SEC snaps, minus AU in which both QBs sucked.
We run run and then expect green QBs to convert 3rd and 10's all game or have 2 wideouts on obvious pass plays.
DO you know what the word talent means? How on earth do you equate "having more talent" as Heisman? Of the 3 QB's Harris does in-fact have the bigger arm, bigger frame and quicker on his feet. Now, sensible people can understand that this may or may not translate at the college level. Just like people understand that a normal looking dude like Johnny Football can win the Heisman with ordinary measurements. I think you forget the reason why Miles threw Harris in vs AU on the road. It was because Jennings could barely hand the ball off vs. New Mexico State. Jennings started 7 SEC games vs 1 to Harris. Huge difference. 5 TD's 4 ints. 48% completion. Ground breaking. I know. barely managed 110 yards on the road in SEC games. You think we clamor for Harris to start. Not the case at all. When you have a QB like Jennings who clearly struggles every game it is a complete waste to not give Harris more reps. There is no substitute for game time speed on the road, etc.
Again you take it to the extreme. Who the fuck is asking to fire Miles? You are worse than those that want him fired. Can't even have a descent discussion with you. Yes, another bad 8 win season with a bowl loss and terrible QB play will heat up the seat Les holds. Absolute fact. Will he be fired?
