He was only there for 4 years and played for 2 of them so it couldn't have taken him 3 years to see the field. Red is wrong. Again.
He saw action his 2nd year at LSU, he sat and redshirted his first, but in 2004 he and Randall and even Flynn shared time. JR was good against some teams, but he was shit against Auburn and I think threw 5 picks against UF.
He also didn't know who to play in 2004, and there was the Booty/Rohan debacle. None of that has happened at Bama. He's had the same starter from day 1 through the end of the season in every season at Alabama, that never happened at LSU.
Didn't play was a true freshman or a redshirt freshman, played sparingly (like Harris) as a 3rd year sophomore. He started in his 4th year.
He played as a redshirt freshman. That would have been 04, remember Auburn and Florida and Iowa? Those stick out but I'm sure he played in other games too.
thats a fact on all accounts. i busted les' balls over the qb situation last year but it was clear jennings was just more comfortable even though he sucked worse throwing. you need a leader to have control of the huddle first. harris looked like he was never comfortable. but that falls on les and cam. they had a year and offseason to develop him. they didnt. hopefully they did during this offseason. im gonna side with marked improvement for both and pray like hell the bo schembechler bobblehead falls from the altar and shatters into 1000 pieces. we need a gd passing game. not the one of past seasons. being ranked 70-100 throwing the ball is no longer acceptable. if it does, les' remaining time will be limited.
Correct, he redshirted in 03, shared time with Randall and even Flynn in 04, started in 05 Miles 1st year w JR and Jimbo and then in 06 as well, and left school for the NFL.
