What an absurd thing to say. When we had capable tight ends, Les threw to them. We beat Ohio State for a national championship with passes to the tight ends. What we have not had lately is a capable tight end that can get open, catch and block. Cameron will not throw to a tight end if they can't get open or the quarterback can't find them.
Yeah but against the better teams Jennings was better than Harris. They both stunk save 1 game a piece for both of them. Harris vs NMST and Jennings vs Bama
You guys are full of shit and have short memories. Richard Dickson caught between 21 and 32 passes a year for three years as late as 2009. Then Ensminger arrived. DeAngelo Peterson had 16- and 18-reception seasons in 2010 and 2011. And production has steadily declined ever since. Part of that is declining quarterback performance, though. We thought Lee and Jefferson were a sad pair until last year.
Well bong o matic, we don't know this because we never got to see Harris. It amazes me that some of you just can't nut up and say Jennings sucks. Fucking amazing.
I think the offense will be much better this season. I liked a few of the wrinkles in the running game and up tempo that we saw late in the year. The inexperience at both QB and WR along with losing the greatest collection of offensive talent from any team EVER played a huge part in the struggles. With the talent coming back on offense, I fully expect the QB play to be more efficient and move the ball consistently.
