The real argument is which QB gives you the best chance to be "balanced" on offense, thus giving you the best chance to be successful on offense, ultimately. That QB is obviously Harris. I could buy the entire "Harris isn't ready and is too inexperienced over a veteran Jennings", but Jennings showed last season no saavy at QB. He couldn't pull the trigger, he made numerous poor decisions (besides being very indecisive often times). The only thing he didn't do is throw interceptions. This is why Les kept him on the field. Les hoped the defense and special teams would save him. There is no such thing as hiding your QB, Leslie. Les accepted the 17-0 loss to Arkansas in 2014 over the 27-24 loss to Ole Miss in 2013 much easier. True story.
Ok dude. My bad, the sky opened up and Jesus' light shone down on Harris and proclaimed him God of the football field because he was able to hustle Mussissippi State's 3rd team and New Mexico State. I smell Heisman.
Not at all. Everyone recognizes that Harris has a lot of upside. But New Mexico State was one of the worst teams in college football last year and the debacle at Auburn is also something of note. Harris will be much better this season and he will see the field. He will have another opportunity to seize the starting job on the field. Perhaps this will be his year. All he has to do is live up to the hype.
if he does then this can be put to bed. i wonder if aj will/would/could be better coming off the bench?
i honestly don't have any idea why you believe Jennings has already reached his zenith but somehow Harris has the world in his palms.
