He didn't graduate with honors but the dude knows football, especially the QB position.

The quote above is what I've come to believe.

The fact we can get any recruit above 2 stars to sign as a QB amazes me. Quarterbacks come here to die.

After NM State game Jennings should have disappeared for at least two games. If Harris' issues are off the field, discipline, arrogance, or just too stupid to play qb, then that is even a greater condemnation of our staffs ability to evaluate talent. Solution is simple - you tell Elmer Fudd if we re not in the conf champ game by 2016, he's gone. The sheep will cheer whomever is on the sidelines. Start trying to meet the expectations of us who truly support the program.

I have a feeling after a couple of seasons with '70 Steele' as DC we'll be talking about more than the offense.

He may be someday, but right now . . . we just don't know. Lot's of hope, but he hasn't stepped up yet.

We don't care about the program in Tuscaloosa, Bammer.

It's not about which guy is the best quarterback. Clearly, that is Brandon Harris. Just about every analyst I've read has said that Harris is the better QB. It's also not a question about which QB knows the playbook, which QB is "more ready". Those who say "If Harris was the better QB, he'd be starting" are missing the big picture. I"ll boil it down for ya. Les has some money to invest. Contrary to conventional wisdom, he is not a gambler. He's not looking for a high-yield even if only slightly-risky investment. He's looking to play it safe. He wants a safe, low-yield CD. That's Jennings. Harris provides a higher-yield but come with a little higher risk even if the payoff is higher in the long run, Miles isn't comfortable with any short-term risk. So he invests in the safest option he has. With Fournette to pound the ball, he just wants a QB to hand the ball off and throw an occassional 3rd down pass. Detillier said in a DandyDon interview that Les doesn't want his QB to be the focal point of the offense. So Jennings will start and he will be a good offensive manager but he'll never light it up passing. Harris will play some early in the season. He will have flashes of greatness but will be rusty from sitting the bench. He'll never play enough to reach his potential. As the season progresses into the meat of the SEC schedule we'll see less of Harris because Les wants that safe, low-yield CD. The starting job has nothing to do with which guy is the better, more talented, hardest working, more humble QB. Jennings is happy and content to hand the ball off. He's our starter.
