No, LF7 is our best back. Doesn't play ever snap. Just like Hill was our best back. Same on D. they rotate those guys. We rotate the O'line, WR's. Basically, they play 2-3 deep about every position except QB. Need I mention Welter? Unless you contend that the 3 deep are all equally skilled?

When the current guy throws more TD's in a bowl game than he does the entire season before that game, and puts that stupid Aaron Brooks Jordan jefferson look on his face, then I'll compare them, but at this point I'd take Jennings over Jefferson 10 out of 10 times. Mostly because he is humble, a good kid, a film rat, and is really being treated unfairly BECAUSE Jordan Jefferson stunk so bad. Think about it, would a sophomore qb w 2 games under his belt before the start of this year been treated the same had Jordan Jefferson not been every other SEC team's MVP except LSU's? Then Mett comes in and he didn't get railed on nearly as bad in '12 as Jennings did in '14. Both first time staters for LSU, yeah Mett was better in '12 than Jennings was last year, but it wasn't by that much. And Mett had Hill, OBJ, and Landry his first year starting. My point is, Jennings was bad last year, true, no denying it. But he wasn't Jordan Jefferson, and he deserves a chance to improve like Mett did in 2013. We should'nt just write him off as JJ just yet because we didn't write off Mett as Lee in 2012. If he doesn't improve and he looks like he is confused as hell, and has a stupid "it's not my fault" scowl on his face like JJ did, and he throws for a whopping 4 TD's in 12 games and then 3 in the bowl game, put the fucking 9 on his back and yell dynomite every time he takes the field for all I care. I personally think Anthony Jennings will be better next year....significantly for those that say well he can't get worse....sure he can. JJ was semi serviceable against crap teams in 2009, but 2010, man he was a dumpster fire.
Here is the meat and potatoes of everything you said and I will sum it all up for you. He has and he wont. I don't hate the kid like I do that other guy, mainly because he doesn't have that stupid look, or blame his teammates or any of the things the other p.o.s. did. He is trying his ASS off. The problem is he just doesn't have it. Sorry, I know you either love him or hate Harris or maybe a little of both. Doesn't matter to me. Harris may get it, he may never, maybe that isn't even close to the reason we never see him but the one thing that simply isn't debatable is that Harris has more QB talent and it's not close. Sorry if it stings and it does because you know it's true. Jennings will start and he will look exactly like he did last year. He's come as far as he can.
