Yeah .. I know. It's hard to shake that "first impression"! I have to keep telling myself that Lee was a Freshman who hadn't adjusteded to college level play.

You have to have a little faith that a person grows out of some things. I'm hoping this is the case for Lee.

As I also noted, I think Jefferson would do better if they treated him as a pocket QB, as oppossed to pretending he is a Denard Robinson .. which he is not.

the new QB rotation should be Lee and R. Shepard. We don't have much to lose at this point. Lee gives us the best chance to win, but is not the complete answer.

That's what I was thinking, but this is Miles. He's not that smart.

    both qbs are toast.

lee is clearly who you want in if down late, but for the whole game? against a top D? he's gonna make some huge mistakes to go along with some big plays. i really am not convinced jl is the better option. bring jj in, only pass on 3rd down to fly routes and hope beamer ball can win.

Looks like Miles is planning on splitting time between Lee and Jefferson:

I think that most of the people on this thread are overreacting. The coaches should alternate them just like they did this past game. Which one actually starts does not matter. Alternate them and keep a tight leash on them. When one self destructs (which WILL happen), put the other in for a while to let the one in trouble cool off. Neither QB is very good at this point and they are now BOTH head cases. Remember, Lee had two passes that the defenders could have picked and he made some horrible plays against UT. Hopefully one of them will separate himself from the other (JJ will rebound to his old form or JL will get enough "INT free" play time to gain the staff's confidence), but right now they need to keep both active because it is anyone guess which one will perform and which one will tank. We will need the other one ready to step in.
