Disagree strongly. If the DC thinks that JJ is starting, well then there isn't jack shiit to gameplan for. Lee is the only one to give them anything to think about.
It is sad to watch. It shouldnt have gone near this long but it did because our options are so limited. Much like Lee was hung out to dry in '08, Les has done JJ no favors. that dude is fini. except for ridley left because thats whats coming.
I 'm not saying the Florida fans want to see anymore of it, but the mighty Gators will stay with their Heavy package. 5 D-lineman, well, really they bring a glorified LB down in the box to stop the run. With Alabama calling the dogs in the second half, Meyer is just egotistical enough to believe his scheme was finally working. If Lee doesn't throw and keep them honest, I really don't see Jefferson getting it done with their talent and speed, speed, speed, Lee has got to throw and there will be plenty of man to man to make big plays.
I tried to make it was much of a non-shocker while still giving a clue to what the thread was about (Not every poster combs through each & every thread/post like Nootch and Fish- especially mine) but I wish I could say with some certainty it wasn't true. Like you said, over the last FEW games I- as many- have seen enough to lead me to believe he should have equal time. Sad thing is I still see JJ's potential, it just ain't happning though. Please amend the TT if needed though.
If LSU's two QB's are causing the Florida DC problems or he has to spend extra time scheming, then he is REALLY bad at his job. JJ is a mediocre running threat and I'm sure they are already prepared for a pocket passer.
In the real universe, Jefferson would be more concerned with making the travel squad than with who is starting. But then again, ......
