Shouldn't we wait and see how the game turns out?

Just for conversation, SF. Because I'm not buying this is the gameplan - I think the thread title is misleading (tiga is a bit of a potstirrer, no? :hihi:). I think this is just Jefferson "thinking positively". Maybe I'm wrong.

Regardless, is the first play of the game enough reason to start Jefferson over Lee against a very good Florida secondary?

Was there something else that you saw from Jefferson in the last few games that leads you to believe he should still even share equal time with Lee - I mean as the going in gameplan?

    I don't see it.

I think J Lee should start and play the entire game. But I'm not going to jump off a cliff if JJ starts, at least not until it causes us to lose the game?

Remember the guy who wanted to borrow the jack?

Clearly I'm not a cliff jumper. If Miles starts Jefferson, or he plays significant series in the first half, I don't know how anyone can explain that. That's my point.

Somebody explain how that could possibly be the gameplan?

Hopefully, this is a thread about nothing. We'll see...

Please let this be true. I just can't see logically (and for the sake of his job security) how Miles can justify starting Jefferson.

Not inconceivable that they BOTH see time. JJ's legs and JL's arm at their respective moments. It is painfully obvious what JJ's shortcomings are, but he does have something he can bring in specific situations. Just dont ask him to think too much. No way this QB situation reverts. It is evolving as we speak.

I'd announce playing JJ and at game time start JL. That is just me.

Randle had a hard time starting games - he played better when he came off the bench.

ive said every game preceding this one JL will not sniff the field. turns out Lee played a decent amount last week yet still not enough and clearly a mismanaged clusterphuck once again. but im going against my common sense and the conundrum that is les miles.

I dont think JJ starts this week. I think we've turned the corner on the JJ fiasco.

JJ will, however, come in probably every series or so to run some option or draw because Les cant let go. more beating his head against the wall.

and he doesnt have the balls to make a tough coaching decision because he fears he may hurt jjs feelings and need him 3 series into the upcoming game.

sit the kid and call on him only if needed. he cannot be any worse after sitting than what hes become--a complete head-case like #12 was 2 years ago.

honestly, I was hoping to never see Jefferson at QB ever again.

At the very least, I hope Les saw , or has seen by now, Marquis Maze' td pass vs Florida. Les, for crying out loud, let Shepard throw one dadburn pass out of the 'Wild Tiger' formation.
