Yeah, I should probably be shouting how great JJ is. Sorry, he's got a long way to go... so does Pryor. Just like your stupid statements in the JJ thread about how I was so stupid and JJ was so great... hahaha... he's a kid with 4 starts that has a lot to learn, nothing more, nothing less.

You're an idiot building kids up that don't need the pressure.

Did you call into Ott's show this morning?

Someone called in and talked about how it seems like Pryor has not been coached at all. As if he were thrown into the fire and the coaches said, "You are an insane talent. Go win us some games."

He hasn't been taught how to sit in the pocket and throw the ball under pressure (obvious considering his 18 yard intentional grounding penalty to end the game).

Yep because i said he would be an all american, heisman candidate? right? What pressure did I put on Jefferson? Thats a very stupid statement.

Whats stupid is you want to see Lee play because of Jeffersons performance, which has been decent WITH NOT INTs. Your predictions are like your opinions, pretty worthless.

Im not the only one here who thinks your an idiot. Its a shame that you dont recognize that.

Everytime you open your mouth you get a little bit less intelligent, just think how much ahead of the game you would be if you would just shut up.

sorry MM, but I tend to agree with him.
if JJ doesn't learn how not to take a direct hit like ha has a few times already, we may start seeing a lot more of Lee.
in 2 games so far, JJ has had to sit out a play in each because of a hit he's taken.

performance wisse, he's starting to remind me a little of Matt Mauck.
Nothing to really make you jump up and say "wow", but the guy really hasn't made any costly mistakes since he became our QB vs Ole Miss last year.
If our D can keep us in games, I like this kid's chances to take us a long way.

Injuries are apart of the game, any player can go down at anytime. But to say we will see Lee because of JJs performance so far is ignorance to me.
If Lee is in their because JJ is hurt fine, but JJ hasnt done anything to warrant Lee getting playing time due to performance.

I agree completely about his performance thus far.
Just pointing out that I'm not real comfortable with our QB taking that many solid hits.
'02 was a perfect example of how quick a promising season can geaux to sh!t if your QB gets hurt.

I agree and I am not shytting on Lee. If he plays I hope he plays well and we win the games. I guess its true about the back QB being the best player on every team.

i agree with this. both have a lot of learning to do. its a matter of which one receives the best coaching. both are similar talents but it looks like JJ has more composure at this point and that usually comes with experience. it seems JJ may have it already.

also, the kid from michigan is exciting to watch thats for sure but man, those two defenses were horrendous saturday. ND must have had over 300 yards the first half. each team must have topped 500 or so it seemed.

i caught some of it in my truck. he was obviously listening yo.

well unless the coaches were hoping for him to stretch the field. dude had 6 passes for neg yards because the safeties were up at the line all night. slip screens are ineffective when you hardly ever throw over 5 yards downfield.

i could see lee coming in much the same way guidry did with hodson for a series or two each half. if hodson can be swapped out im pretty sure JJ can be too. not sure why you take it so personally. hes been ok nothing great.

i have asked this continually here and no one has attempted an answer.

Does anyone think that maybe the coaching staff is telling Jefferson to take the underneath routes when they are open? Maybe because he is young and unpolished, the staff is instructing him to look at the short routes first, and take them if they are there, so the play makers can take over and make plays, which keeps Jefferson from turning the ball over.
