I hope this isn't true. These are pretty serious if I'm not mistaken. Whats the recovery time on this?
well yeah we knew you didn't know anything about football that's a given Free Speech Alley and The Round Table are your bag
IMO the offense is more dynamic with JJ and allows the staff to add some additional wrinkles for opposing teams. I think its a very difficult decision because JL stepped in for the most part got us where we are. I think both will continue to contribute and personally I don't care who plays as long as they give us the best match up against the next opponent and the provides us with the best opportunity to win. I think its safe to say Coach Miles knows what he's doing and will make decisions that gives the team the best opportunity to win. I think as fans based on the past we would just like to get that 1 premier QB that gives us 3-4yrs of solid QB play, a guy that can put a team on his shoulders and go lights out. For what ever reason in general we've had trouble finding that dominant QB. JMHO
ISLSTL is right. He didn't say JJ was 'the best'. He said he's playing with swagger, or confidence. He's right. He doesn't even look like the same guy on the sidelines. I didn't like Lee not playing last week either. I thought it would be best to have Lee come right back and gain some confidence. But the fact of the matter is, I'm not the head coach of the unanimous #1 team in the country, and I also have decent eyesight. JJ didn't throw 8 passes tonight. He threw 7. Lee threw 1. LSU was 8-8 as a team. LSU also had almost 500 yds of total offense in about 50 plays. JJ took a safety last week. Lee threw two picks against Bama...in a row. JJ underthrew Shep last against Bama. Lee floated a few against KY. Miles is mind frickin the weak minded...even amongst his own fanbase.
Funny how so many Tiger fans have such a high concern about JL and what Miles does with our 2 QBs. Since you can't talk about JJ being the better QB I will just say that I still enjoy watching LSU win period. Nice thread bold thread
I hate to admit it, but JJ does seem to be much improved and our best bet going forward. I really liked what JL brought to the table, except for throwing off his back foot and lack of confidence. I feel silly...those are such important aspects of being a qb. If JJ can do the same against the pigs I'll be even more in his camp, so I guess the juries still out with me.
