Hey jackleg, where did I say that? I said he has a serious swagger about him, which he does. And he played really well in limited duty (about half the game). We didn't need to throw the ball. Les is not going to show his hand for Arkansas and Georgia to see.
You can tell who the Jarrett Lee supporters are. I love Lee myself. I didn't think he should have lost the starting job based on 2 bad passes. But it is what it is. Anybody who doesn't come to the realization that we have our best shot with JJ on the field is simply refusing to acknowledge reality.
Really??? The same JJ that has been a train wreck the past two seasons and an anchor to this offense? We won in '07 with a pocket passer who managed the game, and then used the athletic QB for a change of pace. Yes...Perrilloux started and won the '07 SECCG because Flynn was hurt, but how do you yank Lee, who got us to 9 - 0, because of the Bama game? If memory serves me correctly...I thought everyone on here was saying "Lee's gameplan was pulled against Bama"...not Lee himself. Lee has been hosed in this situation. Total garbage. We cannot win the BCS NC dependent on Jefferson's leadership. We need a downfield threat to keep defenses honest and JJ has never shown the ability to accurately or consistently complete the ball deep.
We need a downfield threat to keep defenses honest and JJ has never shown the ability to accurately or consistently complete the ball deep. I guess you didn't watch the 59 yaerded to RR or one to Shep. JJ is a completly different passer this year after Krags work.
Since he came back he has made every type of pass asked of him. He has shown touch when needed and according to Doug Moreau made check offs tonight that put LSU in the right play. You are right he is playing with swagger.
That was ONE play to Randle. Need I also remind you that the pass to Shep against Bama should have been a walk in TD but it was severely under thrown. The pass to Shep tonight was a blown coverage and was just pitch and catch. He has never consistently completed the ball deep and his overall accuracy has always been consistently, inconsistent. Our offense was clicking like a machine...hammering teams with the run and then mixing in play action passes...under Lee. Yes the "JJ package" was what we needed against Bama. It is NOT what we need to hang our hats on to beat Arky, UGA, etc.
