jason white was a character guy and fought through tons of adversity to get to where he was. I admire him for that. he was a pretty damn good qb i have to admit. gino still is my pick for worst ever heisman. to say leinart will be a complete flop is a stretch dontcha think? he woulda been the #1 pick overall by most all scouts predictions plus he's a tad smarter qb than ryan leaf. he will be succesful but who knows to what extent.
Yeah, props to Jason, a guy who was kicked in the teeth multiple times during his collegiate career due to injuries, yet he always fought back. When it comes to college QBs, character far outstrips physical ability. That's why guys like Major Applewhite were able to hang with the Chris Simms of the world while he was at Texas. I'll take an Applewhite, Jay Barker, Jason White 8 days a week over some Parade All-American who doesn't have the drive and determination to be all he can be.
