Perfectly, quickly and accurately. And completed it to a receiver in full stride for 16 yards. Didn't you want to see another one? Or were you ready for 8-of-20 Jefferson back?

Jarrett Lee's performance last season vs La Tech was so miserable that the thought of him leading this team scares me. He was so inaccurate it was hard to believe.

Maybe he has made some miracle transformation this offseason. Obviously we won't know until we give him a shot.

I still think JJ is our best bet. I just wish they would uncuff the shackles and let this offense fly open like it was meant to be. Until then, you're going to be dealing with a timid QB who doesn't want to make the big mistake, just like we have seen the last 2 seasons from this kid.

Base this offense on a very dynamic passing game to set up the run, and I guarantee you we will all be thrilled with JJ's play. Until then, not so much.

I'd like to see Lee get a series in the 1st half and a series in the 2nd half. Meaningful snaps.

Maybe he throws the ball in stride and we go down the field and score; mixing the pass and the run.

Maybe he throws a Pick 6.

Based on what I've seen out of JJ, giving Lee a chance won't hurt anything.

P.S. I strongly believe that Lee is going to get a chance to re-write his legacy at LSU. Any young man that has been through what he's been through and continues to battle, deserves tons of respect. A lesser man would have transfered, or just flat out given up. Lee hasn't done that. I really hope to see this kid succeed.

Yes I wish he would have thrown 10 passes last night.

I am just commenting on how the OP could ask a question of how Jarrett Lee looked last night? That's like asking how did he look in victory formation on those three kneel downs. It's almost that comical a question. That was my only point.

You need an attitude adjustment. You should watch the game and quit looking for excuses to bash the coach. It's really tiring.

I hope CLM does something to get the offense kick started and what ever that something might be, whether if it works or not at least change something and see.

He wants to run the ball. Over and over and over again. The passing game is almost an afterthought with Miles. Why do you think he was directly calling up plays to Crowton last night?

This O-line is not meant to centered around a power running attack. It's a recipe for disaster. Something that Les Miles will unfortunately fail to realize for the rest of the season. We are most likely headed for a very frustrating season offensively. Again.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The game at this level simply moves too fast for Jefferson. He knows football, he's a hell of an athlete and he's a great guy. But he simply can not make decisions and execute well enough. I hate it for the guy, but ~100 yards passing per game is not going to get us through the season. And I just don't accept the fact that Vandy's defense is good enough to keep our passing game that low.

I think in lieu of the last 2 games, Lee deserves a shot at more significant play time, not just in the last 5 minutes of the game.

On a positive note, I was very happy to see we had 71 plays on offense this game and not 50.

I'd like to see more of JL, and if JL isn't the answer, play JJ and JL. JJ alone is not getting it done. If we aren't going to get it done, at least both QBs should be getting game experience. I honestly think JJ benefits from seeing the game from the sideline periodically.
