This morning I had a group on Miles pretty hard about sending Lee in to kneel on it. I told him there HAD to be SOMETHING going on other than the obvious and when we find out (if we do) it'll show Miles to be doing the right thing.

Whatever is bothering Lee on a personal Note Im sure all of us feel for him, I'm sure CLM is doing everything he can to provide council.

but to put it in perspective Lee has to overcome personal issues to be a team player. Football is a team sport, contributors are valued, if he cant contribute, he wont be respected sadly regardless of his personal issues. It the way the whole world is, some one will stop and help but you have to want to be helped.

Hopefully he is just going through a tough spot and will bounce back soon, Lee is a good kid and has shown to be a team player. I just cant beleive he has a bad attitude now. IF anything is wrong and Im not convinced it is, I bet it isnt his attitude. Grades maybe but I bet he doesnt feel "screwed" like many here think.

How can you feel screwed accomplishing what he has this year?
    Impossible.

If you're going to wait - then wait. Don't talk.

I dunno. Lee was in most of the offensive huddles on the sidelines I saw yesterday during the first half. I didn't see the huddles in the 2nd half. I do agree it appeared lee was standing isolated but I wonder if the camera had been zoomed out a bit if it would have appeared that way. It was clear there was saddness on his face. Yesterday had to be super bittersweet for him. Especially after hearing Miles comments at halftime and thinking he REALLY was going to get a few series.

I really believed that Miles had the intention of putting JL in early in the second half if the offense has to drive down a long field. The sudden turnover with Georgia's first drive changed all that..........

I believe that too. Doesn't change how disappointed I'm sure lee feels.

Sitting on the sideline while the offense plays a terrible half of football without getting a sniff of playing time. Watching your counterpart throw terrible passes. Knowing that when the shoe was on the other foot, JJ was given chances.

I do feel sorry for JL. But he shouldn't and hopefully won't look at it this way as that would be feeling sorry for himself, which is going to be counterproductive and make things worse.

Another tough hurdle for JL to overcome.

Les Miles is Les Miles and the things he does sometimes don't make sense to some of us fans or to college football in general. But despite it all he has had a great run, some great wins, and to date one of the best seasons in college football history despite our QB situation.

I crticize a lot of the things Miles does, but those things are his decisions and he has made them work. I've said it before, I'm going to sit back, buckle up, try to not criticize too much and try to enjoy the ride.

Oh please ... stop with the B.S.

Did you see CLM stick Lee in while JJ was stinking up the field last night?? No you did not. You did see him put in Blue, Hilliard, Ware, Ford .. Randle, ODB, and Shep depending on their talents ... but you didn't see Lee.

AND .. NO ..I don't agree with anyone here. JJ sucks ... period, end of story. Last night proved he hasn't "improved" a dang bit. I could have swore I was watching last years AR game last night during the first half. And .. it wasn't JJ that pulled the team out the slump ... so piss on this leadership crap as well. JJ contributed NOTTA last night. His temporary, fleeting moments of greatness, do not make up for the fact that he sucks as a QB. He's no better than JLee, his "running ability" is nothing to write home about, and his passing is just plain pathetic.

I agree with what RWilliams wrote long ago. JJ's return was the beginning of Lee's demise. Not because JJ was "better" than Lee, but because Lee KNEW that JJ was the teachers pet. He started down hill imediately. The scenario ..JJ has nothing to prove ..but Lee had to continually justify his presence on the field. That shiet gets old.

I"m over it man .... JJ is CLM's teachers pet. ... and I'll have to stick by that UNTIL, that explanation for all this comes out. I don't think it will happen.
